Brand, Website & Launch
Outlaw House
Creating and launching a new hospitality brand
The
Challenge
Outlaw House is a new brasserie, bar and rooms in Canford Cliffs, created with acclaimed chef Nathan Outlaw and Trinity Capital Ventures. The ambition was to create somewhere that could feel equally at home as a relaxed midweek local or a destination for a special occasion, with the potential for the concept to grow beyond its first location.
Studio Global was brought in from the beginning to help shape that idea into a distinctive hospitality brand, defining its positioning, personality and identity before taking it through to website and launch.

The
Approach
We started with the proposition, identifying a space between a great local and destination dining: premium without the formality, confident without being showy and rooted in the people, produce and personality of the South West.
The Outlaw name gave us a strong creative starting point. We developed a brand with confidence and a little edge, using the character of the name without slipping into obvious clichés. From the brand story and positioning, we created the visual identity, tone of voice and a flexible system designed to work across digital, signage, menus and the wider guest experience. We then brought the brand to life online, designing and building the website and developing the creative foundations for launch.
Working with our partners at b4b, who delivered the content filming and ongoing social media management, we helped build anticipation and introduce the people, producers and story behind Outlaw House. As an additional launch activity, we also partnered with Edge on a targeted PR campaign, generating significant interest across regional, national and specialist hospitality media.
The
Result
The brand began creating momentum well before the doors opened. More than 1,000 people registered their interest through the website in its first week, providing a strong early indication that the Outlaw House proposition was connecting with its audience.
Combined with a highly successful PR campaign and growing social presence, Outlaw House has entered the market with an established audience, strong media interest and a distinctive brand ready to grow with the business. For us, it's a great example of what can happen when strategy, brand, digital, content and communications work together from the outset.
