Case Study

Raven Parts

Brand identity and rollout
Raven Parts sell millions of car parts, in every direction, to trade counters, garages and drivers who need the right component today rather than next week.

We came into a business that was performing well and presenting itself modestly. The name was strong. The reputation was strong. What Raven did not have was a brand that matched the confidence of the operation behind it.

In a market where buyers scroll listings and compare part numbers, a brand that fades into the background costs you the click.
Unlike most businesses, Raven meets the majority of its customers after the sale, not before it.

Raven Parts was introduced to Studio Global by our long-standing partner, b4b. With Raven already a b4b client, they brought us in to lead the brand refresh, combining our brand and creative expertise with their existing knowledge of the business.

So we started with a simple question. If someone only ever met Raven through a box on their doorstep, would they remember it?

Making an impact

The rebrand is built around one promise: reliability you can install. It is a line about the parts, and it is a line about the company that sends them.

The raven became a mark rather than a mascot. Sharpened, set into a red hexagon that borrows its geometry from the nut and bolt language of the trade, it holds up at the size of a website header and at the size of a barcode label.
Around it we built a system with range. A signal red that cuts through any listing page. A deep black for authority. And a parts pattern that turns the catalogue itself into ornament, thousands of components engraved and tessellated, so the texture of the business becomes the texture of the brand.

Typography does the heavy lifting everywhere else. Condensed, confident, stacked. Car Parts. Braking Vehicles. Statements, not sentences.

Project Highlights

Then we took it everywhere, because for a parts business the brand does most of its work after the sale.

Website and product pages. The app. Business cards, letterhead, email signatures, invoices. Presentation templates for the trade conversations. And the details that matter most in a warehouse: label tags, stock codes, and packing tape that turns every carton on every pallet into a piece of the brand.
A full brand guide holds it together, so the system keeps its edge as the team grows and new lines launch.

What Raven has now is a brand with the same reliability as the products inside the box. Recognisable at a glance, consistent from the homepage to the packing bench, and built to scale with a catalogue that never stops growing.
